LARRY MORENO ADVOCATES AT THE OHIO GENERAL ASSEMBLY
CINCINNATI, OH---On Wednesday, April 3, Larry Moreno met with several members of the Ohio General Assembly, advocating on behalf of Policies to End Homelessness, the non-profit where Mr. Moreno spends much of his time. Mr. Moreno advocated for the opening of more reliable health centers in the Cincinnati area to help curb the opioid epidemic that is crippling the city in addition to issues of homelessness.
“One person on the streets is unacceptable yet in one year we have had over 600 youths between the ages of 18-24 staying in shelters here. This stat is extremely upsetting, especially considering these young people make up 43% of Cincinnati’s homeless population.
Larry Moreno remains committed to advocating for those marginalized in our community along with those experiencing hardships throughout the Cincinnati area. Mr. Moreno consistently finds time to give back to our community and find new ways to assist those facing adversity.
